Top-Notch Dog Boarding: Where Your Pup Feels at Home
At The Pet Companion, we get it - saying goodbye to your furry friend can be tough. That's why we go the extra mile to make sure you both feel at ease. With us, your pet will be in caring hands, and you can relax knowing they're well taken care of. They will enjoy running and sniffing in our half acre fenced in yard or relaxing in our kennels which are heated and have central air conditioning.

Dog Boarding
- Drop offs are BY APPT between 8-10 a.m./4-6 p.m. Sunday 8-10 am only. Please be on time.
- Dogs not picked up by 6 pm must stay until the following day and another days board will apply. The kennel is not open between 10-4 pm.
- Please put meals in individual baggies or gallon ziplock bags. Meals provided by The Pet Companion will be charged $2 per meal.
- Please bring medicines in original packaging.
- The Pet Companion is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Owner is responsible for any damage to doggy doors/cables/kennels, etc caused by their dog.
- It is owner's responsibility to make sure dog is up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines. Please check with your vet to be sure all three are current. We will not accept dogs without proof of vaccines.
ATTENTION: Rates are per calendar day regardless of dropoff or pickup time. Owner is required to pay for all days reserved regardless if returning early to pickup.

Required vaccinations: Rabies, Dhlpp, Bordetella - Proof of vaccines must accompany dog before being admitted. NO EXCEPTIONS
Extras - bath $20, peanut butter kong $3, doggy ice cream $4, nature walk $10, supervised playtime in yard $8 for two times per day, extra one on one time $5, greenbean, pumpkin, chicken dinner $5
All of our kennels are equipped with central air conditioning and heat.
About our kennel - built in October of 2017 and nestled on 113 acres along the Shenandoah River. Our kennel is small, only having 15 kennels allowing more interaction with your dog. Kennels are spacious ranging in size from 3x4, 4x6, 5x6 and larger corner suites with tvs. Your Dog will relax in the heat of summer inside with full central air conditioning and heat in winter.
